This policy explains what information Holy Doctor Prayer Space ("the App") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The App is a community prayer-request app: members post prayer requests, pray for others, share updates and testimonies, and comment — organized by country-based communities.
Information We Collect
- Account information: first name, last name, email address, country, and preferred language, provided when you create an account.
- Content you post: prayer requests, comments, and updates/testimonies. This content is visible to other members of your community and is shown alongside your name.
- Prayer activity: which requests you've prayed for. Other users can see who prayed for their request.
- Community membership: which communities you've joined.
- Push notification data: a device token used to deliver notifications (e.g. updates on requests you prayed for, a weekly digest), and your notification preferences. This is only collected if you enable notifications.
- Reports: if you report a request or comment, we store the report reason and reference to the content involved, for moderation purposes.
We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the App's core features: displaying prayer requests, tracking who prayed, showing comments and updates within your community.
- To send push notifications you've opted into (new updates on requests you prayed for, and a weekly digest of community activity).
- To moderate content, in response to reports or as needed to enforce community guidelines.
How Your Information Is Stored
Account and content data is stored using Firebase (a Google Cloud service), including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging and, for iOS, Apple's Push Notification service.
Your Choices
- Notifications: you can enable or disable notifications at any time from Settings, and turn off specific notification types individually.
- Account deletion: you can delete your account from Settings. This removes your account profile. Please note that prayer requests, comments, or updates you've posted may remain visible to your community as part of the historical record unless you delete them individually beforehand.
- Language: you can change your preferred display language at any time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
